Secluded Papakolea, or Green Sand Beach, is tucked at the base of a cliff on a little bay favored by hikers. There, the sand is made of small, crystalline bits of olivine, protected by smooth walls of swirling ash turned into colorful rock. Each time the waves crash against them, a tiny bit is carried away, so one day this magical bay will be gone. Until then, it’s a reminder to enjoy what life brings us now, and not to put it off until later. That spirit inspired our Green Sand Beach blend of treasured Hawaiian influences, gently roasted into a cup that’s sure to please.
